Sex Education & Consent Workshops for Schools - Brisbane
I deliver in-person relationships and sexuality education (RSE) workshops for secondary schools and youth organisations in Brisbane and across Queensland.
My sessions support schools delivering the Queensland consent education curriculum, helping young people develop the knowledge, confidence, and critical thinking skills needed to navigate relationships, sexuality, and online influences.
Workshops are designed to be age-appropriate, evidence-based, and discussion-led, creating a space where students feel able to ask questions and engage honestly with complex topics.
My Approach to Sex Education
My approach to relationships and sexuality education is sex-positive, pleasure-informed, and evidence-based, creating a safe, shame-free space where students feel comfortable engaging with the material.
Sessions are highly interactive and discussion-led, helping to reduce awkwardness, encourage open conversation, and support students to think critically about relationships, consent, and sexual wellbeing.
Sex Education Workshop Curriculum
All lesson plans are designed to the needs of the young people. I deliver sessions for students aged 11–18, tailored to different developmental stages. Examples include:
-
Puberty, anatomy, hygiene
Boundaries and respect
Healthy and unhealthy relationships
Consent

Healthy relationships + consent
Contraception and STIs
Pornography and media influence
Communication and sexual expectations
Masculinity and misogyny
Online safety, media-literacy

Consent in complex situations (reporting assault)
Navigating online sexual culture

Sexual risk taking
I also have years of experiencing working with young people with additional learning needs. I am able to adjust RSE and consent education curriculum for neurodivergent young people, to be trauma-sensitive, or for those with disabilities.
It is important that everyone has access to sex education!
In-demand RSE Support
Positive/Toxic-Masculinity, Manosphere, Misogyny
With more than two years of experiencing working with boys as part of a government funded project to reduce violence against women, I have become exceptionally passionate about ensuring young men grow up critical of the ever growing ‘manopshere’.
These lessons can include porn and media literacy, misogyny, and peer pressure. With a focus on men’s mental health, positive role models, and healthy relationships. As a woman, I also believe it is important to draw on men in their local community so I will often include teachers and parents where possible.
Teacher Training
Ensuring that there are permanent members of staff on site who feel comfortable to answer young people’s questions is vital. This provides consistent and sustainable support for your young people. But we cannot expect adults to be comfortable discussing sexuality, just because you’re an adult.
Drawing on my experiences as a sex educator and therapist I can provide training, demo sessions, and resources to increase confidence and knowledge in your school.
Parental Support
Many parents want to support their children in navigating sexuality, relationships, and online influences but feel unsure how to start these conversations.
Parent sessions can explore:
talking to and supporting young people about sex and relationships
navigating pornography and online content
answering common questions
Sex-ed Testimonials
Safeguarding and Professional Practice
All workshops are delivered with safeguarding and student wellbeing as a priority.
I hold safeguarding training and background checks equivalent to a Working With Children Check, and will obtain the relevant Queensland certification when working in Australia.
Safeguarding policies and documentation can be provided upon request.
