Sex Therapy for Individuals and Couples (Online & Brisbane)
Sex therapy is a form of talk therapy focused on understanding sexuality, intimacy, and relationships. Many people experience challenges with desire, communication, sexual anxiety, or feeling disconnected from their partner.
These sessions offer a space to explore any aspect of your sex life that feels confusing, distressing, or in need of support - from intimacy and relationship challenges to concerns around gender, sexuality, pain, dysfunction, or bodily changes.
As a clinical sexologist, I work with individuals and couples to explore these concerns in a supportive, shame-free environment, helping clients better understand their sexuality and develop more fulfilling intimate lives.
My approach is compassionate and evidence-based, integrating psychological, emotional, and physical understandings of sexuality. I see sex as a skill, something we can all learn, develop, and enjoy more fully with the right support. Many of us never received meaningful sex education, and these sessions can offer an opportunity to fill in those gaps in a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space.
Together we may use a blend of conversation, psycho-education, practical ‘playwork’ exercises, mindfulness, and somatic tools to explore your goals and experiences. Whether you're looking to deepen intimacy, navigate identity, or overcome specific challenges, the aim is to help you feel more informed, confident, and empowered in your sexual wellbeing.
Sessions are currently available online, with in-person sessions in Brisbane planned in the near future.
Many people feel nervous about starting sex therapy - that’s completely normal! My goal as a sex therapist is to create a space where sexuality can be discussed openly, without judgement or embarrassment. Read ‘What is Sex Therapy like?’ here.
